Cancer and Trauma Reconstruction

Skin cancer often occurs on the face, especially centrally. Any surgical excision will require considered reconstruction to minimise visible scarring and restore function.

Trauma to the facial soft tissue can result in scarring, tissue loss, nerve injury and functional problems, especially around the eyes and mouth. Repair and reconstruction including microsurgical techniques can help minimise these issues.
